Australians All Let Us Rejoice

As a free, non profit community service, Dial Before You Dig NSW/ACT likes to support other free community services and events.

Since 2009 we have sponsored Parramatta's Australia Day celebrations.

Australia Day starts early in Parramatta Park with an Aerial Carnivale of hot air balloons. In the afternoon events move to the Big Backyard.

All through the day there are free activities and entertainment.

The Dial Before You Dig team hand out free merchandise to thousands of people.

In the evening the free Dig 1100 Concert offers entertainment for younger and older Australians.

The Dig 1100 Concert for 2015 featured the Wiggles, Sarah De Bono and Timomatic.

The evening was rounded out with a fireworks display.

Even a light drizzle could not dampen the mood of the crowd.
