Local Community Events

Community events allow Dial Before You Dig to take our message of safe excavation to the community. When a pipeline is cut or a cable is damaged, many households lose their water, gas, electricity or communications-sometimes for days.

The community events sponsored in 2013 allowed Dial Before You Dig to support other non-profit community organisations, including:

  • St Maroun Maronite Catholic Cathedral Redfern
  • Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church Harris Park
  • St Joseph Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church Croydon
  • St George Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church Thornleigh
